That looks... kinda cool! I like how they've set it 20 years later so the age of the actors who reappear seems right.

It's completely silly and full of holes but I rather enjoyed the first one. What's the worst film then?

Reports say Will Smith asked for 50 million to be in it, hah, ok then.

I loved the first film, went to the pictures (when that was a thing that wasn't supidly overpriced) to see it, loved the effects and Goldblum. Weird there being a sequel after all this time.

you have to admit, there'll be hundreds of films that you would think were the worst film, just you haven't watched them. what you're talking about is the most overrated film that you've seen.

i.e. Birdman, some pseudo-intellectual shite that was so overrated, it shits on all of the aforementioned films hands down.

Our nearest "local" is still only 2.50 each with popcorn and drinks around the same.

Ticket prices on weekends go up to 3.50 and the local chain cinema actually had to cut their prices to compete o_0!

The local has since upgraded, added extra screens...gone from strength to strength!

I also prefer it to the chain cinema as the boy and I (the kids) can go see a movie for less than twenty quid and eat and drink too o_0!

Avatar was expected in a way. It was James Cameron (post Titanic) after all, however it's still up there. Titanic, Independence day, The Fifth Element, Star Wars Episode 1...I could go on forever... all came from that turn of the century "we've just discovered CGI explosions" and "lets make everything colourful for RGB scart lol" era. All of them with a really fake style over any sort of substance, story, acting etc etc. Dogshit.

HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE FIFTH ELEMENT! You are not allowed to have opinions that contradict my own, I am offended/triggered by your filmist agenda and will be reporting you to my local Social Justice Warrior Department on Tumblr.

Oh no! I'm going to be sent abusive tweets by butch, misinformed, women in plaid shirts who think human lives are not as important as chickens!

Fifth Element isn't a bad film compared to the others mentioned I suppose, but it still had that same shitty veneer. Has not aged well at all either
