They brought out a new cockpit so I had to do some more designing...
Interceptor, Light Scout, and a Shuttle.

Yeah, I should totally start by designing a vehicle for five people (turret AI is a bit shit) in a game I play SP...
You're just butthurt it doesn't have more artillery turrets on it!

LOL! If only it worked that way
Couple more recent designs, the Lightspeed F-77 Fusilier Bomber:
Four laser cannons and eight rocket launchers enough for you Tenz? Why did I bother asking? I know the answer is NO
And also the Hunter FSH-02 Hornet:
Definitely starting to get more of a handle on the new textures that we can use in the game now I think.

Decided to start working on a bigger ship. I wouldn't call it a carrier, unless it's a baby carrier? I'm sure Tenz will know. I figure it will probably hold about 8-10 ships in it once I've sorted the docking bay out. This is a WIP:

Completed some more texturing and paint work, gave it a name, and extended the rear slightly as I needed a bit more internal space. I also decided it's classed as an escort carrier, and Tenz is going to shout at me for using the US Navy numbering instead of the British one :

Quite the transformation! Looks pretty good. I take it you can't use smaller blocks to do crazy designs?

In theory there are ways of attaching small blocks to large ones using docking pads, but they're usually used for internal decoration more than anything because it's a giant hassle. You could build the whole thing out of small blocks instead but small vessels wouldn't be able to dock Plus you're limited to 250 blocks in either direction and a small block is 0.5m whereas a large one is 2m, so there's quite a size difference.
Updated the colour scheme again because I still wasn't happy, and re-christened it since I nearly scrapped it yesterday

Added a few more greebles to make the outside a bit more interesting. The inside is pretty much done too now, so I'll be releasing it for people to destroy shortly!

*sigh* This fucking game... I can't escape!
Updated a couple of older designs:
(Hmm this forum is so old it won't recognise the GDURL links as images, so you'll have to click you lazy fuckers!)
http://gdurl.com/vDz7
And the military "OH FUCK MORE GUNZZZZZZ!!!!!11" version for Tenz (you can't put more than four of those types of weapons on each craft any more, sorry!)
http://gdurl.com/FqYI
Then an update to a different one:
http://gdurl.com/bDt6
And yes Tenz, that one does have the maximum number of guns too. The top ones are mirrored on the underside [/img]

Why would you make an 'executive shuttle' when you could make an 'executive gunboat' instead, eh?
