The new 2015 has been revamped and easier on machines, its also in the MMo as it is multiplayer, although i think its just 16 or 30 players atm

Fun and relaxing i must say

Just go the whole hog Daf and get Train Simulator 2015 Steam Edition (17.49) and finish off with a tickle of Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Gold Bundle (2.99), you know you want to!

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is unexpectedly great, so addictive. American Truck Simulator is looking great, out soon I think.

The look and feel of the game is probably the best of its kind, it's very immersive and an amazing achievement from the devs. I've never had an interest for this genre of game before because they all look like shit, they're too hardcore and are not very accessible. ETS2 you just load it up and it's immediately fun, it's like half arcade and half simulator on the surface, but the more you play, the more you unravel its depth, I just thought you did jobs in the game and drove around Europe hauling explosives or dangerous chemicals, there's alot of variation as to what you can haul which affects the handling of your truck so there's plenty of dangers as you drive around, so it's a varied challenge and just a relaxing game to play. Then I realised alot later in the game you can actually start up your own haulage business, buy garages, improve them and hire more drivers through recruitment agencies, there's alot you can unlock in the game and lots of truck customisation, saving up money and paying off loans/debts, unlocking new cities, discovering new areas and unlocking more types of trucks you can purchase, so it's always rewarding.

And then there's the active and huge modding scene for the game, which further improves the graphics, sounds, tweaks to gameplay and adding more types of vehicles into the game and then there's multiplayer which I have no interest in right now. It's just alot of gameplay for the couple of pounds I paid for it with its Going East expansion, High Powerered Cargo Pack DLC (adds into the game large expensive cargo which is very difficult for me) and some other paint jobs DLC. And even more fun if you own a decent wheel. :D

No worries, tried to keep it short, but it's quite an in-depth game, you gain experience, level up through a skill tree to become a better driver! They're still adding new content and improving the graphics of ETS2. :o

Screens from their new game, American Truck Simulator, day 1 purchase for me. :D

Daf, always fancied giving Farming Simulator 2015 a try, but I don't think I'm patient enough. How is it so far?

Thing with Euro Truck Simulator 2 is (yes, I picked it up for 2,99 as well), you can get in and muck about driving arcade-y style, or you can delve in the settings and make it as simulator-y as you can possibly want. Heck, you can even move your seat, and the game supports the Oculus Rift. One thing is keeping me busy though: I own a trucking company with 25 trucks now, about to open a 6th garage. Not seen a single one of my other trucks on the road yet! OCD kicking in! Trying to figure out whether that is intentional, or if it is just bad luck. lol
