I fully understand that, if I want a moba I play Smite, Heroes of the Storm or Paragon which is pretty good. If I want tower defence I play Dungeon defenders 2. If I want Borderlands I play Borderlands

Gunplay/PvP/Gameplay experience wise I think (for me personally) Overwatch is the better game comparing what I have played in both betas. Overwatch seems less messy, it knows what sort of game it wants to be (TF2 clone!) and the controls and abilities seem tight.

Battleborn is trying to do too many things with no real greatness in any of them, yeah it's fun but in a frantic lsd infused kind of way Currently I need 20 minute blasts not 45 minute grinds atm! I want rule out picking it up though, it's abourt 21 online.

What I have read though is if your not playing Battleborn on PC your not playing the best experience the games offers and your a web handed window licking couch potato

Umm... what?

It's a shooter. You shoot things. You start at the beginning and work your way to the end shooting things. Yeah, there's 29 different ways to shoot things but it's hardly complcated

My point was in trying to do so many things it's not (for me) pulling any of them off too spectacularly, the marmite is spread thin on my toast, if you will

A bit worrying also is the peak players on a Saturday, 5 days after release is 9,138. I wonder how many that will be in a month (in terms of pvp NOT co-op or sp)?

The game has potential but will it pull through? Will brune buy it cheap on impulse anyway? Answers on a postcard...

Of course you will. You'll also play it for 4 hours and then never play it again, just like you will with Overwatch

Already clocked 7 hours in overwatch! Thus I won't have to install it at release

Yeah but you haven't paid for it yet. You know what'll happen the moment you fork over the cash

Yes but Overwatch as well is Shite.

Thanks I feel better for that.

I can't wait for more FPS gameplay in Star Citizen and the new Dust replacement for Eve. Overwatch feels like an apple product. Everyone is hyping it up when really it is nothing new, just done well. Like Wow, nothing original but just done well.

I am more for innovation and mixing of genres.

Each to their own though 😃

Total War, absolutely, can't wait.

Overwatch? Apple watch. Do you have an apple phone Brune? People that like overwatch are also apple fan bois.

Yes I am being silly but there is something iPhone like about the colours of overwatch that remind me of apple.

Funnily enough my phone history has been nokia to samsung androids but yes my lastest phone will be an iphone SE (due to the limited choice of android handsets my company gave me to choose from and the fact I want a phone not a tablet in my pocket!)

To be fair if you like team based (teamwork is a thing in this game!), solid, smooth as silk FPS based PvP you can't go wrong with Overwatvch (IF that sort of thing is your bag). Yeah it might not been anything new but Blizzard have actually produced a really fun and addictive game....I think.... It will sit nicely in the MWO/AW/BF bracket for me.

40% off on steam already, I guess the writings on the wall for this title. I think they missed a trick and should have gone down the f2p route with a business model similar to SMITE or Warframe that would have had a really healthy player base.
