Is it just me, or does Geralt look more and more American in every new The Witcher game? He does not look like he used to in the first game, and right now he just looks like the generic american hero from CoD, he does not look Polish at all...

I'm a big fan of the videogames and read all the books (which are amazing and absolutely recommend), so I'm pretty excited for the Witcher 3, specially after the devs saying that the game will be more open-worldy and the map being several times bigger than the maps from the previous two games combined. Also, the graphics look astonishing.

HYPE!

End of Feb 2015 release though.

It looks stunning, but the story in that trailer seems a bit dull compared to Witcher 1/2. Still, 1 and 2 are amazing games, they haven't let us down yet, can't wait.

Oh nono, it may look like it, but after reading the books you realise that it won't be dull at all. Trust me, they are continuing the story where the books left it. This game will have larger scale conflicts in it, at least if the trailer is not misleading. Also, a character very close to Geralt finally makes an appearance. Let's see what they do with it.

Oooh, didn't realise that, thanks. :D I'm trying not to read too much into Witcher 3, it looks so good I want to dive into it a total newbie. :D

Be careful where you buy your codes from, CD Project not happy with GMG for aquiring large amounts of Witcher 3 key codes.

Yeah since that came to light it's back at £49.99. Just CD Project trying to get peeps to buy on GoG (apparently they own GoG??) and a bit of sour grapes I reckon.

I reckon Dragon Age Inquisition has ruined it for me. Everything I watch, it just reminds me of a slightly better version of DA:I. Wish I hadn't have played it now!

Still semi-looking forward to it, I suppose.

Well review embargo is lifted and it's looking like it will get glowing console reviews BUT the PC port still needs optimisation by the sounds of it, day one patch free with all purchases

http://www.pcgamer.com/when-is-our-witcher-3-review-coming/

Quote:
Today, the review embargo for CD Projekt Redís The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt lifted. There will be reviews out there in the untamed wilds of the Internet. You can read them! But none of those reviews will be of the PC version. While review copies of The Witcher 3 were sent out for the PlayStation 4 more than a week ago, PC code is still missing in action, despite being pre-loadable on Steam. Bandai Namco tells us that this is because a big day-one patch hasn't been finalised on PC in time for today's review embargo, but will be ready for worldwide release next Tuesday.

Pretty standard for Witcher games on the PC
