Well I have bought two founders previously. While MWO didn't plan out as expected I still got several hundred hours of entertainment from it and spent all the gold. I figure I got my moneys worth out of it but not much more.

The Warframe founders turned out to be a bargain actually. I've racked up 670 hours on it via Steam, probably at least 200+ more before it went to Steam and I fully expect to spend another few hundred hours on it as well. To this day people are bitching because they can't get the founders exclusives.

You also got a lot of plat for your money: the top plat pack right now will cost you 130 and gives 4,300 plat. The Grandmaster founders pack cost 160 and gave me 8,800 plat plus an exclusive Warframe, pistol and sword. That's a really good deal.

For Eternal Crusade I have gone for the middle pack. I'd pay 40 for the game anyway so spending 47 for the game and a few extras is a no-brainer.

Remember people, proper 'free to play' doesn't pay the bills. You want good games? You'll have to pay for them one way or another.

Yes, they do require money for that. And you know my stance on that.

Did you check out the alpha footage on youtube Tenz? It looked pretty lame but it is hard to tell. It looked like another over the shoulder view 3rd person shooter a la firefall type game play.

I don't think Warhammer deserves to be fitted into the usual MMO style questing type MMO. I really hope they do not try to squeeze this IP into that type of game. From the looks of the alpha that is exactly what they were trying to do.

Hopefully it will be a good polished game worthy of the IP.

Yeah, I'm trying not to board the hype train

I figure after all my bitching about how I just want a 40K game where I can blow Ork heads off with exploding bolter rounds, when someone finally does it I should back it

Looks very rough, so it's not even Alpha ready? Just a dev playable version? So when is the planned release? Looks good, but the bases look dull and oversized, you spend ages running up stairs, ramps and around long hallways to get around. Hate that about PS2.
