The opening scenes are like being on TS with your goodself Lugs, full of bloody northerners! To be fair one of the first baddies is voiced by a Stathamalike though!
Last night I hit just over four hours and the opening title sequence started, with the game guest starring the great Brian Blessed at some point
It felt like I had been playing the opening scenes for an epic movie and now I am about to embark on the main feature.
One thing to consider there is a lot of reading and long cutscenes/speeches. This really drew me into the world but might be a bit long in the tooth/often for some. Also the world does not look massive (currently 95% under the fog of war!) but the world that is there is pretty bloody cool and very alive.
Also everything is designed for realism and thus everything needs practice and learning. It feels a bit like a medieval rpg sim.
I had one moment last night when I thought I as going to lose about 45mins of play (the save system currently only saves after sleeping/major cutscene, but Warhorse I considering changing it to make it better for busy Dads/Mums etc ). I tried to cut across some rocks/bushes and got stuck, had a few minutes of f'in and blind'in, opened my map closed my map and miraculously freed myself..pheww!
So as mentioned before, bugs and glitches are aplenty (certainly if you read the forums) but nothing to destroy the ambience and flavour of this great game in my opinion.
It certainly needs a few more patches and some TLC over the coming months (or maybe should have had a bit longer in development, originally it was slated for release Dec2015!)
It's well worth considering if you have the wonga.

I got it wishlisted, but I currently don't want to fork out €49,99 for a game. Yep, I'm Dutch!
Nah, expecting some bills that need paying first. Municipal taxes and such.
