All the others I got bored b4 the grind set in hehe.

anyway...back to Waargh! Lost all my empire toons btw...only had me orcs etc left on one server

I know I didn't get as far as some but it's still annoying!

ps - h8 starting in the human / chaos starting areas. If they ever introduce RVRVRVRVRVR...then it will be brilliant

EQ2 hasn't had any grinding for a while now, it's all quests and there's way more than you need to level but you earn Alternate Experience for completing them, this gives you access to new skills, better stats etc. I usually run with combat xp either reduced (it has a slider) or turned off altogether. You still get normal levels from doing quests but you get a ton of AA xp as well.

Like you however, I've read the details of the free to play and I'm not overly impressed. Too many hurdles in the way of enjoying the game

I played WAR at launch, quite enjoyed it but got thoroughly pissed off over how long it took them to do any balancing. I think Bright Wizards were massively overpowered at launch and hadn't been touched 3 months later

Last time I played EQ2 it was when they introduced the oddly cool butterfly race....forget what they're called now o_0! I liked them, the rest was same old
